As a green business, Brian’s Auto is making a positive impact on our environment. From an energy standpoint, Brian’s Auto is working on becoming LEED-certified. From LED lighting throughout the shop, including the sign, to efficiency improvements in their air conditioning to a 19-SEER heat pump for the office.

Owner Brian notes, “Other improvements we have made have dramatically reduced air compressor operation, including high-efficiency, lithium-ion, cordless power tools. A new high-efficiency compressor as well.”

Self-contained microbial and biodegradable water-based parts washing system and Hobart high efficiency floor washing system. All commercial circulation fans are high-efficiency, Energy Star-rated. Brian’s Auto recycles everything (metals, cars, cardboard, oil, antifreeze, tires, paper, plastic). The company has updated bathrooms with high-efficiency fixtures, and the business operates on cold water only. Additionally, it uses a reverse-osmosis water cooler to produce pure drinking water without the bottles.
